First Historic Platinum project in Texas
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (the “Authority” or “DART”) is a public transportation agency providing an assortment of transportation services to 13 cities in the Dallas, Texas metroplex.
The project included preservation and reuse of an historic building with load-bearing masonry walls and high bay space. The project was subject to the Texas Historical Commission and State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) review. The project includes features and requirements for LEED certification.
This contract included the interior finish-out; finish-out of tenant improvements including solid surface tops, interior doors and frames, interior windows, finish hardware, interior drywall, interior lighting and electrical fixtures, ceramic tile, acoustical ceiling tile, flooring, paint, miscellaneous specialties, visual display message boards, access flooring, flag pole, wall and corner guards, signage, lockers, fire extinguishers, vault and teller equipment, gates, operators and appliances, laboratory equipment, entrance mats and work benches and all other miscellaneous items identified in the Contract Documents.
